Competition in Computational Linguistics 2021

Are there any common points between linguistics and mathematics? Are there any linguistic problems? Take the opportunity to find out the answers to these questions by taking part in the Third Computational Linguistics Competition.

What do you need to do?

First: register between 15 April and 8th May 2021 at the Educational platform of the Institute for Bulgarian Language.

The competition will take place on 8th May 2021, 15:00 – 17:30. Do not forget to give information about the age group you are in: 5th to 8th grade or 9th to 12th. Adults can also take part but will not be included in the final ranking.

Second: apply your knowledge of Bulgarian and other languages, mathematics and computer science, as well as your imagination and creative thinking.

Third: show your investigative skills and enjoy!

There will be prizes for the top performers in each age group, and the award ceremony will take place at the Sofia Festival of Science.

The competition is organised by young researchers at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (the Institute for Bulgarian Language and the Institute for Mathematics).

The award ceremony will be part of the opening ceremony of the Sofia Festival of Science on 15 May, 12:30.
