The target group of the project “Integrating New Practices and Knowledge in Undergraduate and Graduate Courses in Computational Linguistics” comprises PhD students, postdocs, postgraduates and young scientists from the Institute of Bulgarian Language (IBL) and the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics and Faculty of Slavic Studies at the University of Sofia.
The main goal of the project is to assist the development of the scientific potential in Bulgaria in the fields of mathematical logic, computer science and computational linguistics by means of assisting the professional realisation of PhD students, young scientists, postgraduates and postdocs in contemporary and emerging disciplines in which a pressing need for young and promising experts is felt in Bulgaria – mathematical logic, information search and information retrieval and computational linguistics.
For this purpose, were planned and conducted several activities aimed at – offering thematic and interdisciplinary courses, organization of research meetings and seminars promoting academic mobility, support of scientific publications in internationally popular journals, scientific and methodological work on dissertation.
