New Book: Universality of Semantic Frames and Language-Specific Bulgarian Data
Edited by: Prof. Dr Svetla Koeva
We are pleased to announce the publication of a new book titled Universality of Semantic Frames and Language-Specific Bulgarian Data, edited by Prof. Dr Svetla Koeva.
This volume presents the main findings and results of the Department of Computational Linguistics on the development of the Bulgarian FrameNet – a lexical-semantic resource modelled on the Berkeley FrameNet. The Bulgarian FrameNet integrates the language-independent principles of semantic description with a detailed representation of the specific features of the Bulgarian language, all within a unified conceptual framework developed for this purpose.
The book is the first in the series Frame-Based Approaches to Semantics, published by the renowned international publisher Language Science Press.
